SUPPORT: ======== E-mail: support@eLowery.net Web: http://www.eLowery.net/ TRIAL PERIOD: ============= This demo is offered for a trial period. It is fully functional, allowing you to explore part of the first level of the dungeon. At some point, you will not be able to continue unless you pay the registration fee. You can pay the registration fee online at the web site above. The fee is $15.00, and we accept MasterCard and VISA. PLAYING THE GAME: ================= After you start, the game will present a splash screen, followed by a breif history to orient you to the game. After that, you will be given a chance to create your character. Your character will be assigned 4 statistics at random. These statistics are critical to your survival, so you want them to be as high as possible, though no statistic can start above 18. - Strength: improves the amount of damage you do to monsters. - Intellect: reduces the chance you will be surprised by monsters. Also increases you chance to avoid traps. - Speed: improves your ability to dodge monster attacks. - Accuracy: improves your chance to hit monsters. Hit Pts: This is the amount of damage you can take before you die. Hit points can be regained during the game, by simply walking around, or sleeping. The main game form shows a 3d perspective view of the dungeon. There are 7 action buttons at the bottom, plus a readout of your hit points. Movement in the game is done by hiting one of the action buttons, or by hitting a hard key. L = Turn Left F = Move Forward R = Turn Right B = Move Backward S = Sleep C = View Character Stats M = Show Map Calendar = View Character Address Book = Turn Left Scroll Up = Move Forward Scroll Down = Move Backward To Do List = Turn Right Memo Pad = Show Map As you wander the dungeon, you will encounter monsters. You will want to battle as many monsters as possible, because victory increases your characters attributes slightly. The higher your attributes, the better your chance of defeating more dangerous monsters on lower levels of the dungeon. Keep an eye on your hit points, if they become low during a battle, you can attemtp to retreat, though the monsters may block your path. You will find many chests in the dungeon. Some may be empty, but some will contain weapons, armor, or other items necessary for completion of the game. Weapons and armor will be automatically equipped if it is better than what you currently possess. Remember to save your game often. You can save by selecting the 'Save Game' menu command, or simply leaving the game and going to another application. If you die in the dungeon, you can continue playing from the last place you saved your game. We want to make this game as fun an experience for you as we can. If you have any comments, suggestions, criticisms or praise, please don't hesitate to contact us. We can be reached at support@eLowery.net. Thanks for playing and have fun.
